life in delaware.

on our way home from NC last weekend, madeline and i kidnapped my mom and brought her back to delaware with us. my MIL (who cares for madeline on the days that i work) went out of town, so my mom volunteered to stay with us and spend some time with mads. my nurse manager is on a 3 month leave of absence, so i’m working in her place these days, which means a lot more hours away from home. while this would normally bum me out, i’m really excited about storing all the extra $ into savings for maternity leave. the more money i make now, the longer i can stay at home once charlie arrives. 

my dad took a few days off work and drove up towards the end of the week… he couldn’t stand missing out on all the fun for one more minute! i didn’t get much accomplished around the house while my parents were here- what down time i did have was spent adventuring with the family.

i’ve got a lot of catching up to do, so this post is more “pictures with captions” instead of actual blogging. happy wednesday tumblr loves!
